Ojiya Nishikigoi no Sato is located in the center of Ojiya City. It is five minutes away from the Ojiya Interchange on the Kanetsu Expressway. Nishikigoi no Sato and Ojiya-shi General Industrial Hall Sun Plaza are adjacent to each other. (See access map) It is also about a 3-hour bus ride from the Tokyo metropolitan area.
This is a perfect rest station for shopping, lunch breaks and a short tour of facilities for Nishikigoi and industrial arts on your way to Sado Island, or Yahiko-Tsukioka hot spring resort.

Please drop in at these facilities, where we welcome our visitors with a tour of Nishikigoi no Sato, "Hegi-soba" set meal or Uonuma Koshihikari brand rice set meal along with tasty local sake.

On the second floor of "Sun Plaza" are display and sale of local sake, soba noodles, rice confectionery and a large variety of souvenirs such as traditional, industrial products Ojiya Tsumugi and Ojiya Chijimi textiles.
On the first floor is an experience-based studio where visitors can weave traditional textiles. (Reservation required) * The studio is closed on Wednesdays.
